Animations can make a website come to life. That's one of the many differences between the web and reading a book/magazine, on the web you can add animations. 

Don't be slow

Too many animations can make a web page slow to load. People won't wait more than about 20 seconds for a page to load before going away.

How to get them:

To add an animation to your site you need to use the Html code below.

In between the speech marks you would put the address of the image/animation you want. The animation must be in the same directory as all your other website files!

In my opinion, one of the best sites to find free, quality animations is Animation Factory. It mainly offers GIF's but if you surf around you can find some good photo's and web elements.

AAA Clipart

Loads of Clipart and graphics. As well as a list of other good Clipart Sites.

GIF Animations

A large collection of GIF Animations and top site list with other clip art sites on.

3D Cafe's Free Stuff

Not so many Graphics but you will find it is a good archive of many things including Fonts, Sound effects Photos and Plug-ins.
